This talk will introduce Hurst’s adaptive ecocycle and the “Sweet Zone” within it which hovers between the spiral traps of poverty and rigidity. Within the sweet zone Positive Deviance (disruptive thinking) is encouraged, indeed nurtured, to act as a breeding ground for innovation.
