Introduction to Lean Six Sigma is an e-learning course offered by the CQI in partnership with Catalyst Consulting. This 1-hour course provides a solid foundation in Lean Six Sigma methodology while enhancing your problem-solving and improvement skills. You’ll also gain valuable insights on applying these concepts within your organisation, using interactive and practical examples.

Once you've completed the course, you'll be able to:

  • understand key terms and 'jargon' associated with Lean Six Sigma
  • recognise the principles of Lean Six Sigma and how they can be demonstrated
  • outline the phases of DMAIC
  • examine how a selection of improvement tools can be used to solve a process problem (e.g. problem statements, SIPOCs, Histograms, VA/NVA Analysis)
  • consider further actions and future learning opportunities
